Zach was fantastic—super communicative, punctual, and had everything ready to go. He even helped me set up my fly rod and gave my girlfriend and me valuable guidance on techniques, flies, and ideal locations. He’s incredibly knowledgeable yet patient, making him great for those new to fishing. The boat had plenty of space for both of us to fly fish comfortably. Highly recommend!

This fishing trip was a blast! Zach was incredibly patient with me as I got used to the setup—this was my first time fishing like this, and my casts weren’t great at first, but he helped me improve quickly. I enjoyed fishing with Zach because he’s not only knowledgeable and clear in his instructions but also friendly and fun to talk to. He made sure I felt comfortable the entire time, and I ended up catching so many steelheads that my arm was sore for two days! I highly recommend booking Reel Down Outfitters for an amazing fishing experience. Thanks, Zach!

Captain Zachary deserves nothing but praise. We had a terrific time on his trip since he was kind and professional, and he has a great attitude. He was quite knowledgeable about the locations we fished in, and his tips were spot on. I'd fish with him again in a heartbeat!

We paid for a four-hour trip, but Zach let us fish for approximately four and a half hours. He was really educated and simple to work with. We probably fished 5 or 6 different areas around the river using different approaches he advised. I believe we caught about 15 smallmouth and rock bass in all. We had one good fish hooked up as well, but it didn't make it into the boat. I'd fish with Zach again and would suggest him to others.

Zach was AMAZING!!!!! He was super nice and professional!!! He also put us on fish the entire time! He is a great teacher and guide! We had never fished for steelhead before and caught some great fish! I got my first master angler!
